Mr. Deroche - Science

Welcome to 7th Grade Science! I am so excited to join the West Wing community and help guide young minds through the amazing world of science. I earned my B.S. Environmental Science Biology degree at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and then pursued a two decade career in the environmental mitigation business sector. Throughout my career, I have built and led businesses, managed teams, solved complex problems and collaborated with amazing people from all walks of life. I'm excited to bring those real-world experiences to the already incredible knowledge base and curriculum at West Wing School. My hope is that students will be able to see science as something they can explore, test and apply to the world around them. I will be focused and driven to create a classroom and laboratory environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making observations, testing ideas and learning from their successes and mistakes.
