Mrs. Julia Williams
Hello, West Wing Community!
My name is Julia Williams, and I am thrilled to join the team as a Special Education Service Coordinator for our 2nd and 3rd graders this year!
This is my 7th year in special education. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting K–12 students in the classroom as well as medically fragile students transitioning into adulthood in home settings. My passion is creating an inclusive, encouraging environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to reach their unique potential.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia University Irvine and my Master of Education in Special Education (along with my Teaching Credential) from Grand Canyon University.
On a personal note, my husband and I have a energetic 4-year-old daughter and a gentle giant of a chocolate lab/mastiff mix. While originally from California, we previously lived in Peoria, moved back to California to be near family for a time, and are now so happy to call Peoria home again! Outside of work, you can usually find me swimming with my family, baking sweet treats, crafting with my daughter, or taking weekend trips up north to Prescott and Sedona.
I am so excited to get to know all of the wonderful students, families, and staff at West Wing. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
