Mrs. Tracie Lease

Mrs. Tracie Lease
Hello! My name is Tracie Lease and I am so excited to continue being a part of the West Wing community! I moved from Washington State with my husband and our youngest of our five children. Two of our children graduated from Grand Canyon University, and we fell in love with Arizona during our visits—we knew it was the perfect place to call home for this stage of our lives. I enjoy trail running and exploring the beautiful trails this state has to offer. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education K-8, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a certificate in Special Education K-12. I have sixteen years of teaching experience, including thirteen years in Washington State where I served as a primary classroom teacher and later as a K-8 physical education teacher and head of the PE department. I was also a foster parent for ten years and adopted two children from overseas, which has enriched my passion and skill set for working with students with special needs. For the past three years, I have been teaching elementary special education, and this year I will be teaching Math and Social Emotional Learning for grades K-4. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to support our students and work alongside the amazing staff and families at West Wing this year!
