Mrs. Hopson

Welcome to West Wing School, I am Laura Hopson. I have had the pleasure of being part of West Wing staff since the beginning. I moved down from fourth grade to Kindergarten in 2013 and I love the change!
I am a native of Arizona, grew up in the northwest valley and attended Northern Arizona University. I have my BS in Elementary Education, as well as my Early Childhood Education, Reading Specialist, SEI and Gifted endorsements. This will be my 31st year of teaching elementary school. I have taught second, third and fourth grades, as well as two years as a 3/4 multiage teacher, two years as reading specialist trained in CLIP working with 1^st and 2^nd graders. I also spent a year with first graders teaching them math!
