Ms. Rivera
Welcome to fourth grade at West Wing School! My name is Selena Rivera and I believe in creating a safe environment where students feel comfortable to take risks in their learning in order to grow.
This will be my 6th year teaching, and I have taught first, third, fourth, and sixth grade. I received my Elementary Education degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood from Arizona Christian University, as well as earning my Structured English Immersion endorsement.
I have lived in Arizona my whole life and love living in the West Wing community. My niece is also a West Wing Mustang and I love working at this school. Some of my favorite things are: reading, going to the movies, teaching new tricks to my puppy, and taking care of my house plants.
I look forward to a year of fun memories and positive growth with your child!
