HELLO WEST WING 8TH GRADE-MS. PATENA
(COACH PATENA’S COUSIN IF THE NAME SOUNDS FAMILIAR)
I am so excited to be part of West Wing School!
I am relocating from the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio.
It has been my honor to have served as a middle school teacher for the past 20 years.
A life-long dream of mine has been to live in the beautiful
state of Arizona.
I have two children.
Lauryn, age 20, and Casey, age19, are now enrolled in college at GCU. Lauryn has just finished as a sophomore student and, lucky for me, her brother Casey chose to attend and just finished his freshmen year.
I can not wait to learn about ALL OF YOU as we embark on this new journey together!

Class Expectations
I strongly adhere to West Wing School guidelines as communicated in the handbook and website.
I am confident that students are aware of classroom rules and expectations in our daily classroom.
I believe that communication is the key to success as it relates to our educational team, which includes the students, me as their teacher, as well as parents and administration in our school community.
If you have any questions or need for discussion, the best way to reach me is by email.
