Mrs. McDermott

Welcome to second grade! I'm Joci McDermott, and I bring 17 years of teaching experience at West Wing and 27 years of teaching in Phoenix. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master's Degree in Administration and Educational Leadership from NAU. In 2014, I was honored to be named one of Deer Valley's Teachers of the Year! I take great pride in being part of the exceptional Second Grade Teaching Team at West Wing. We are dedicated to ensuring a positive and enriching educational experience for every second grader. Together, we will work diligently, forge new friendships, explore exciting new knowledge, and enjoy every step of the journey. I am eager to meet each of my new second graders. Welcome to West Wing!
