NEW Blended Kindergarten Model
Hello Parents,
We are excited to announce that the Deer Valley School District will be offering a new blended kindergarten-based model next school year.
This means tuition paid kindergarten students will remain all day with the same general education teacher. Our kindergarten classrooms includeinnovative technology including iPads, SMART Boards, laptops and more.
The tuition-based program qualifies as tax credit which reduces your tax burden dollar for dollar. Sign up now– teacher staffing will be based on the 2013-14 projected kindergarten and extended day enrollments. Please help us spread the news!

Systems Approach
At West Wing we will continue to focus on facilitating the learning down to the learners level. West Wing classrooms will implement the Plan, Do, Study, Act System (PDSA) which ensures that all learners will be engaged, involved and aligned with their learning throughout every step of the learning process. At West Wing we use several strategies to assist us in completing this task; all leaders/facilitators will establish common norms, develop a mission statement along with having systems in place to continue to look at ongoing data, teachers will modify and facilitate the learning process, so that learning goals can be mastered.
Dear West Wing Parents and Guardians:
In an effort to ensure that our drop off and pick procedures run smoothly, please adhere to the following guidelines that have been put in place. Please refrain from arriving too early for pick-up – cars idling for long periods block the streets and pollute the air that our children breathe. Consider arriving a few minutes AFTER the dismissal bell when the congestion and back-ups have cleared out
